What do you reckon I could get for www.3dmoovy.com if I sold it now? I dont think its a very good name, but I would like to at least get what I put in back.

I would start by creating some "google alerts" relating to your domains so you get an idea of whats out and there and potential end-users

What sort of names do you have? Aer they product related?

iain - i saw that camera news today - SICK stuff!!!

jack - from what i know, you're only trying to sell to domainers you're going to have a hard time... i don't know how far you've tried branching out to the end users, but you have to aim there.

Giles... i understand that everyone is holding onto their 3d product related domain names, but 3d domains are not relegated to just products... many of the bigger sales that have taken place have nothing to do with products at all

jeremy.. i have 3dmovi, 3dmovis and 3dmoovie ... i don't think i can give these away right now... brandables are going to be hard to push in the beginning so u may have to wait it out if you really believe in your name... maybe create a logo and try to build your site out a bit - sell it with traffic and rank

btw... 3dMovis.com has earned me a WHOPPING $12 in parking this year, if you can believe that - i think it's my highest earning, parked 3d name, so it's earned its keep for another year for me

the new 3d(.)Building(.)Projection.com is officially transferred and forwarded to the end user's home site
you can see this guy's work by visiting the website - IMPRESSIVE

    good luck all

Definitely on to something here. Hmm, you've sparked a few ideas on domain development here. A domain can fetch such a nice price, just think what a sweet design and just a tad of content can do for your pockets!

I think you will struggle with .info names in this area. I tried selling some 3D .info names about 3 years ago and couldnt sell them for $20, even to end-users. I know 3D is more in the news now, but i think you are better off focusing on aftermarket 3D names.

The fact it has a hyphen doesn't help the name either.

If it was 3DGames.info or 3D-Games.com, I would say ok, but a mix of the 2 kills it for me

    Good luck though

What do you think of my website: Cheap3DMovies .com ? 120 Visitors from 8 countries. Not bad for zero advertising. Good Domain Names are great for any business.

    .

I think that those who have 3D related domains should wait at least 5 years to sell them

now the 3D hardware is costly and the users base is small, but, later, this market will explode

maybe, the selling prices of 3D related domains could grow to 10, 20, 50 times or more

also, the REAL 3D market will born when a good goggle-less technology will hit the market

LG reveals the new world’s largest 3D LED TV
Just weeks after Samsung had announced the world's biggest 3D LED TV at 65 inches, LG Electronics (LG) has announced the launch of the 72-inch LZ9700, now the world's biggest 3D full LED TV.

The TV also features TruMotion 400 Hz, which is designed to enrich 3D viewing and NetCast broadband, which allows the user to access instant streaming of movies, TV shows, video, as well as having a Widget-based user experience via Ethernet connectivity directly to the television.

The 72 inch LZ9700 will hit the UAE and all GCC markets in the first quarter of 2011.

damm now i have to forget about buying a 60 inch led 3dtv lol i want one of these :)
