Will '3D' Revive The Domain Industry - 3D Domain Names (?)

Its listed in your sitemap.xml and also shows up in the results of a site:cheap3dmovies.com search.

If you don't see any issues in them using 'your' domain to spam/sell/add "do follow" links to other non related sites when ever they want, then fair enough.

But keep in mind, adding do follow links to "bad neighborhoods" can have a negative affect on your domain.
I'm not saying that the link on text.php does go to a bad neighborhood, but if you don't have control of those links, then you don't have control of your domains reputation. Whats to stop them adding a link to a site selling cheap Viagra? Ironically, creditviagra . com also links to the same site your text.php does.
But yeah, I just thought I'd mention it.

I am not really sure on how much breaking news that is. I have looked at that site (it had to be at least 2 months ago) and it was the same at it is now.
Its a nice Flash presentation, although I think (given the domain) they could (and probably should) do better.
That is the most forefront 3D domain name and (in my opinion) is wasted by what little content they have there.

Greatly appreciate this. I believe just about any generic name with 3D in front or back will have value (yes, I own quite a few). Everything is going 3D. Besides what we all know about, there are many products that are being labeled 3D including Toothpaste, Nail Polish, Mascara...

Nice name... I think you should build that site out. I am sure you can turn a profit by next Halloween. And then drop the site for some great money, while its HOT. Clocks ticking.... you have 11 months to do it. LOL
In all seriousness... I can see it being very profitable for you but I really think you probably need to build it out first.
Just my opinion.

I just want to rehash on my site (3dDatabase(dot)com) for a moment. I put in place an open forum (for the time being. There will be a sign up later to place comments) that falls under the umbrella of 3D. My thought process is to attempt to get people from all ilks to the one spot to discuss their respective subject dealing with 3D.
In other words... Domainers (such as yourselves) can discuss 3D Domain Names while at the same time Gamers can pick up topics of 3D games (past, present and future), and Techie types can talk about the latest and greatest 3D equipment to hit the markets. The 3D medical people can join in as well as 3D movie buffs.
In my opinion this will probably be very beneficial to everyone. As this 3D is starting to reach its peak in popularity there will be some vast improvements in one area or another. Those improvements will ripple down to all the other areas of 3D sooner or later. As domainers, there may be a chance to see and catch a coming wave before it even begins to build. The same could be true for all the other subjects of the 3D world.
Its just a thought as of right now. Every forum that I have tried out so far for 3D has only covered their one topic. If you go to a 3D game forum... they only discuss Games. A 3D domain forum... yup you guessed it, Only 3D domains and so on.
So I am placing the boat in the water (so to speak) to see if it floats.

Let me know your opinions on the subject.

Not a bad idea. You might try building it out with Maya or 3DS Max tutorials, or something of the sort.

The 3D market might be young, but unfortunately the 3D domain market isnt so young and all the good (and bad lol) names have gone

Your best bet is buying names on the aftermarket
