Will '3D' Revive The Domain Industry - 3D Domain Names (?)

I really wonder when all the 3D critics are going to start wondering about their stance on all this, so many of these articles are by industry giants

Still one of the BIGGEST hurdles going is 3d content
... Check out my latest update on "3d DVD Rentals"

all new titles added... new layouts... new info... seo updates (removed all content from VirtuMart and re categorized)
.. traffic is really starting to pickup... ranking very highly on a lot of very popular 3d dvd/3d movie search strings...
.. have finally passed the $xxx mark this month in affiliate sales (Netflix) - site has been up since February - first 3dtv's were launched in april

this site is starting to move along nicely now..
with the latest seo update, i hope to be in better position following the holidays - after the 3d tv invades many more homes

Just been talking to a V.I.P of the domaining business and he noticed I have 3DCONSOLE.COM, he gave me some advice -

“If you are willing to flip it “early” I will not sell it for anything less than $2500, 3D gaming and computing is a huge market and probably the biggest niche right after TVs, movies. Please note that the price of course will increase over time when 3d becomes mainstream…. might be another 5 years but it’ll be a gold mine. Good luck! ”

1. Is it worth investing in a 3D Porn domain with the new .xxx being lined up, will it be a waste of money?

2. If you had to pick one of these two domains which one and why

While the website is far from good... getting incredible traffic: 298 visitors from 27 countries and this is from type in traffic only from a great domain name; never advertised. 3DComputerSoftware .com Open to suggestions on how to use the Domain Name.

im averaging about 100-200 visitors a day to 3-dnews.com yet 3-dgaming.com gets zilch.

 

Funny the one i get most traffic of of is 3-dplay.com

 

I registered VirtualReality.la thats kind of related to 3D. i think it may be good to develop in the future.

just got ANOTHER conversion on 3ddvdrentals

I'm comfortably over $100 in earnings for the year on this site now (went live in late february)

the change in layout really seemed to help A LOT too as i more than doubled the amount of click-throughs from the two months prior this week.

ya have to like the possibilities for this site once REAL 3d content is available.

 

What affiliate site are using for 3ddvdrentals?

 

Right now, it's all Netflix - which you can register for through Google's affiliate network.

I have whatever 3d movies they have listed - there's only about 20 something movies in there in total and most of them are OLD 3d movies.
I don't know why movies like 'monsters and aliens in 3d' aren't available as rentals even though they're available for retail.

it will all eventually pass and a ton more 3d movies will be available to list on my site soon enough so it is what it is for now.

I also had blockbuster listed at one point but then they filed for bankruptcy and took away their affiliate program. (also in the google network)

 

Hmm, they must have heard ya
10 new 3D Blu-rays being released today.
Not sure when they will be available for rent though..
