Will '3D' Revive The Domain Industry - 3D Domain Names (?)

Thanks all those who welcomed me back... Still not sure what I did wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway... it gave me more time to buy 3D Domain Names...

 

Those are really great names you mention... and 3D in front or back is great with a one word premium name. It is the So So names I am talking about. 3D in front is worth keeping while 3D after the name (for me) is not... example: 3DTradeshow.net may be worth keeping with 3D in the front. Some names 3D in the back just does not seem to work as well. That is all I am saying. Thanks for welcoming me back!! Still not sure what happened. Perhaps I mentioned my 3D websites too many times???

i'm not really trying to prove you wrong .. i was in AWE when i saw the numbers back in January... absolutely amazed

 

right now the search volumes with 3d in them are pretty low so i'm looking at 3d domains as a long term buy, i think it will be at least 2 years b4 most first world homes have 3d displays either as pc or tv.

This site is now getting decent traffic and 3D tv's are becoming more popular. I decided to go ahead and list it for sale, if anyone is interested. Im selling it because I think it would do great developed but I dont seem to have much time anymore for development..

There's money to be make. the funny part is almost impossible to make money if you are a domainer and trying to sell to a domainer. IMO you can sell and make some $ but i guess it will not be around here.

 

I think its the wrong time to make money on these names, if you want to make money, you will have to wait a couple of years when 3D is mainstream and in a large % of homes.

I have had nice offers but have turned them down for this exact reason.

I think there is good money to be made with 3D domains, but its not now...

It's crazy because I just listed my name, 3DSideEffects.com, for sale the other day.. now I see this recent warning from Samsung.. I kinda wish I hadn't listed it for sale.. LOL But it's ok, as long as I get a decent sale.

 

Obvious warning is obvious. I mean a good bit of that is standard TV warning but the other stuff has been known and dare I say is common sense.

On the 3D gaming topic, anyone hear about the sorts shown at the GamesCom convention with Sony? Supposedly the Killzone 3 and new Motorstorm game got quite a good receiving. Also the Gadget Show over here in the UK (Suzi Perry *drool*) had a challenge where they created a trailer and Suzi created a 3D one using 2 standard Canon EOS 550's and of course they are very well up on 3D goings on.
