Will '3D' Revive The Domain Industry - 3D Domain Names (?)

Thanks for the thoughts. It was really intended just as a vehicle to make an affiliate sale on a TV - so yeah, it all affiliate products.

As for Google, I am well aware that they classify thin affiliate sites as spam. This particular site is really just a 3D TV landing page for some traffic I already had looking for 3D TVs and glasses and such.

 

Any comments on what these will be called??

It seems "3D Bluray Player" is more common, I am hoping they will be commonly known as "3D Players" lol

"3D Bluray Players" seems a bit long for everyday langauge, just my opinion, any thoughts on this??

.. or 'i just grabbed a new 3d movie at best buy'

they won't be saying '3d BDP', that's for sure - it's just a great marketing name for a business.

'3dPlayer' is pretty universal though .. don't forget they started marketing '3d audio' (what a crock!)... but 3dplayer can pertain to that as well.. it's still a good name

i had this on preorder but lost it
but i got 3dmobiles.co so i am happy enough
prefer the mobile ones as they can also be used for mobile 3dtv or any other gadgets that come out with the small screens that they have developed

 

I mean when people are referring to buying the player itself, not just renting/buying the movie

Once they have the player, then they can rent or buy the movie!

 

3d Player still sounds a little strange to me ..i know i'm the outcast on this thinking as the term seems to have been gaining steam... but it just sounds like it's missing something - to ME, anyway... i, myself, at the moment, would probably say '3d disc player' .. or '3d dvd player' (i probably like this one best) ... and like i said, i'm probably in the minority on this as everyone seems to think '3d Player' is the way to go, so be sure not to listen to too much of what i say about this name.

Type in google - "3D Smartphone" and at the same time shout - "Mr Curly, Show me the money" YIPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

 

Make sure you disable personalized search results in Google...
I see 3Dsmartphone.co.uk on page 5 (which is pretty good considering the amount of tech sites that have blogged about the Sharp announcement).

If you start SEOing the site now and adding well written original content, then by the time 3D smart phones start hitting the market, you may stand your ground against the more popular tech blogs.
I would concentrate on the .com... If you can get that on page 1 by the time they release it, you will do very well with the domain. Good luck.
