I applied for 3-D.CO & 3DTV.CO, both are still in my Godaddy account saying "Pending Application".....fingers crossed

I did get 3DGaming.co through Domainmonster which I'm happy with.

Good Luck on 3dtv.co Giles. I tried getting tv3d.co and 3dtvs.co but lost them both.

My 3d .co names are really good though.

3dtravel.co
3dhome.co
web3d.co

yes.. love me some 'holo'
haha

I have spent countless hours looking into holography and holograms.. it's amazing!!
i like the HoloTelevision ... although we don't know if it will be shortened like that.
.. HG would probably be the best way to combine that term with other words to help keep it shorter, but ..to be seen
:)

i have a few of them.. my two favorite by FAR:

HolographicGlobe.com
and
HolographicAtlas.com

Watching Avatar made me want these real bad.. i love these!

Will Baseball Convert The Masses To 3D TV?

"Just check out the overwhelmingly positive reviews of the first ever 3D Major League Baseball telecasts that were broadcast recently, starting with a pair of Yankees-Mariners games in Seattle on July 10 and 11, followed by July 13's All-Star Game in Anaheim, Calif. (All three games were co-produced by DirecTV, the broadcast satellite service.)

“Everybody was very surprised at how really cool baseball looked in 3D,” Jerry Steinberg, senior VP of field operations for Fox Sports, which co-produced the telecasts, told Broadcasting & Cable. “It was amazing.”

“I have seen the future of televised baseball,” gushed Newsday's Neil Best, “and it looked a little intimidating, frankly, what with both the ball and 6-7, 290-pound CC Sabathia moving in my direction in glorious 3-D. “

These 2 names have been receiving some nice traffic over last 5 days

3-D.co.in
3DTV.co.in

Around 128 and 178 views in 5 days, not a lot but a big increase

Anyone know why this could be happening?

Not sure, maybe they are getting type ins from people wondering whether they've been regged yet. Is there no referrer info in your stats? If their finding the site via a search engine or following links, then you should be able to see where they are coming from in Google Analytics.

Just FYI...
A wee bit off topic, but while I was looking at the code of those sites I noticed...

<div align="center" style="padding: 10px;">
<a href="/privacy.cfm" rel="nofollow" class="privfooter">Privacy Policy</a> |
<a href="/copyright.cfm" rel="nofollow" class="privfooter">Copyright/Trademark Notification</a>
Code (markup):
Nofollowing internal links has zero benefits.
Pagerank sculpturing using nofollow does not work anymore.

---------------------------------------
The first site also suffers from this...

</div>

3d recorder
3d recorders
3d burner
3d burners
3d tv
3d players
3d television
3d channel
3d television
3d channels
3d home cinemas
3d home cinema
3d mvie
3d movies
3d cinema
3d avatar
3d theater
3d theatre
3d theaters
3d theatres
<script src=.....
Code (markup):
Search engines are pretty good (and getting better) at working out the difference between text that is on the page to inform, and text that is put there in an attempt to influence rank (AKA keyword stuffing).

Trust is an important factor in ranking.
If SE's find anything they perceive to be suss/dodgy/spamy about a site, a flag gets raised, they trust it less and in turn it ranks lower.

In extreme cases (I mean like when several flags are raised), they ban the site from the index altogether.
How much worth does a banned domain have?

I have heard Googlers say before, its sometimes easier to buy a new domain and re-brand, than it is to get a banned domain re-trusted.

Just to be clear. Having a few keywords stuffed in the footer will "not" get a domain banned. But it may raise a flag.
