I'm trying to figure out something odd regarding Wikipedia.
I figured I would maybe get a little traffic by capitalizing on the "Thanksgiving" niche today and inserted an External Link to something I put together for Fun Thanksgiving Facts.

Of course, as with most submissions by most people- it was deleted from the page shortly after I edited it.

    BUT-
This has always had me scratching my head........
If the link is no longer on the page, why do I continue to get referrals in my Stat Counter page?
As if people are continuing to click on something that isn't there.

    Strange.

I had seen this before, but it still doesn't answer the question of "why am I still seeing referrals?"

People clicking on the history page and checking out the spam that got removed. Easy to figure out...

Yeah, I figured it might have been that after reading the History link.
Just amazes me how many actually sift through all that.
    Huh.

    Doesn't sound like targeted traffic.
