    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Wikipedia no longer good for link development :(

You can verify this by going back to the wiki page. Then browse through the page history (see tabs). You should see the addition and removal.

Most ad networks such as AdWords are all set to nofollow by design, and these types of links are generally good for product recognition and traffic. If they were not, then no one would bother with them and all of us adsense publishers would be out our cash as well.

The difference between something like a Wiki link and an Adwords link often falls down to nothing more then cost. And while time is money, a properly used link should prove it was worth the investment.

On the other hand, spammers need to have their sites removed from the internet and then the webmasters that push them need to be severely beaten with 2x4s. Were it not for the spammers, such links would still be followed.

Was going to suggest the same thing :D

And if the link does belong, you can check the discussion page to see if it's been talked about, and if it has not, then you could likely discuss it.
