wikipedia editors has sharp eyes on spammers or linkers who aim to stay in their pages. so good luck to all
i've had a link on paris hilton wikipedia page and i was getting about 100 uniques daily, then i got banned from wikipedia
wikipedia is one of the trusted site...lucky you i your post will last on its page as there are competitors that might edit your work...
Sometimes editors are quite blind, as they only want to see what they write or choose. I have the best site in my language about a card game, and someone put a link to my site in spanish wikipedia, as I had a nice surprise checking my statistics. I was getting some hits from the wikipedia. But some months later it was removed by a new editor. I loaded the link again, as it was looking useful for wikipedia users (and for me of course ;-) ) and it was removed in a pair of hours. I dont care anymore for it, as my site is pretty well known rigth now. But I am very interested in getting other links from wikipedia, as they are wonderful for search engine purposes.
