    What do you think of Wikipedia in term of Competitor for your keywords , i saw Wikipedia taking #1 rank on many keywords and my high keywords going down ...

    What is your opinion ?

    I fear Wikipedia is going to be as frought with politics just like DMOZ.

    isnt it owned or affiliated with dmoz? I think the same thing. Info in wikipedia on some topics is pretty questionable - and much like dmoz, the "other links" sections are filled with spammy sites.

    It's one of the best info sources on the web. Most articles seem to do a pretty good job presenting a neutral viewpoint (if that's even possible).

    If you consider an article to be biased, at least they have a system that allows you to dispute it.

    I think a major difference between DMOZ and Wikipedia is that there is no appointed editor for a specific topic. Anyone can add a good link or drop a bad one at any time.

    It already is! I have had my links on there purposefully broken by 'rivals'.

    I am a wikipedian, and the whole concept is great, but with such a huge site there will always being problems, politics and arguments.

    It does come up great for a lot of keywords, but there are 1000s of links on it to other sites, so many are benefiting.
