    to make myself clearer, can/does each page have a templates which either have a Header or Footer file which is common to all pages? I.e. only have to change say footer once...

    Site has one template file so you only make changes in one file. I moved it to another server and they suspend me so thats why site is offline. Switching back to my old vps, site will be online within few hours.
