Wikalo.com, PR4, 2 years old

I'm placing Wikalo.com for a sale once again, because unfortunately I simply don't have time to run it anymore. The website speaks for itself. It's PR4 homepage, lot of lower PR subpages, and is slightly more than 2 years old. The script is custom made from scratch, and there is only one copy other than wikalo working. The listings submitted to the website can be displayed on other websites via small JS code. In the past, I have used it to back up other websites of mine. I haven't done much to promote the website, but nevertheless it makes couple of bucks here and there from Google Adsense.

I think you guys are wasting your time... If I remember correctly he wanted way too much for the site last time which is why it didn't sell.

Is this an actual operating classifieds website - ie, are there any authentic classifieds on it, and can you point me to them? No problem if there's none, I'd just like to understand if this is a going concern or stagnant before I bid.

What's this "Wikalo AdNetwork" that's pitched to users - what are the other sites involved, what are the arrangements with them, what level of effort and TCO is involved? Again, no issue if this doesn't exist, I'd want detail before bidding (in addition to standard traffic stats etc others have asked for above).

Ok, here is a brief answer to you questions.

First of all, regarding the McAfee thing, to be honest, I don't know whats happening. I double checked the code, I can't see anything suspicious, so God knows what's going on with those virus alerts.

The website is operating. It functions like this: User registers and submits an ad, moderator than approves the ad, and ad becomes active. So, there are genuine classifieds throughout the website, but also lots of directory style listings. Unfortunately, I am too busy to do the moderation myself, and since I'm done with college I want to step out of this business.

The ad network works like this: Webmasters wanting additional content on their websites can easily copy/paste the ad code, and choose the category and ad formating. That way, ads get distributed based on a certain category: so if you have a website about cats, you can include cat classifieds in just a few steps. The way I used it before is this: I had an operating network of more than 20 high traffic websites - and each of them was showing classifieds from wikalo. That gave my network an additional value, and made the Wikalo quite popular when my network was on its peak. Later on, I Started selling the websites - and now there is only Wikalo left. The thing is, for someone with a growing network of websites, this can be a very useful website to buy.

Traffic is like 2-2.5k uniques a month, nothing fancy, it used to be really high when my network was running in its full potential (20 high traffic sites). Now, most of the traffic comes naturally from all around the web, directory of directories, etc. Revenue is low, the website earned some $75 this year from adsense, and some additional money from the link sales, but nothing that big. What I'm selling here is a custom developed ready to use system to boost your network's value, not a plug and play cash-cow.

Last time I didn't sell, because the offers were not satisfying enough. This time, I really want to handle this website to someone who knows what he's doing, but i won't give it for peanuts. So shoot me your offers.

Well, I know how much the development originally costed me, it was about ~ $450-550 in total, and that was two years ago. So I'll consider offers above that.

As mentioned before, this is not a revenue based sale.
