I established the website as the number 1 Nintendo Wii site that explains various error codes that Nintendo Wii users could get while playing with their Wii. I used several sources to write those short articles about errors and their possible solution including Nintendo's website, other Internet websites and user emails.

I did not own a Nintendo Wii at that time and everyone can run this website without knowledge of the Wii.

There is no work involved on your part unless you want to increase traffic levels again. I do not have the time to do this right now. I neglected the website for more than 6 months which is why the earnings decreased from about $10 in early 2007 to $2-4 per day in the last months.

I do receive roughly 30 emails per month from users of the site who use the contact form to report new problems or solutions for existing ones. This is in my opinion the best way to add content to the site.

The site itself uses just php and some html to display the contents, no database is needed.

The price might seem a little bit high but you have to consider the following: It just sits there and earns money, no work involved at all after moving the site to your server.

The potential to rise traffic and earnings is there. With some work involved the site could come back to old glory. A few partnerships here and there, some new content that is being added, a forum probably could increase the traffic tremendously.

Wiierror.com uses Adsense to monetize as well as Text-Link-Ads. Adsense brings in the majority of earnings while Text-Link-Ads brings in a solid $10 per month.

Traffic Details:

The majority of traffic comes from Google with roughly 65% and several other sources like forums, stumbleupon and so on. The site ranks nr 1. for wii error and wii errors in Google as well as several other error codes such as 'wii error 52030'
