I am very excited to announce the launch of the Wii Lounge forums - http://forum.wiilounge.com The first thing you may notice is the slightly different phpBB setup. Before you ask, this is not a skin designed to alter the typical phpBB look. Wii Lounge is in fact one of the first, and the first forum I have seen on vGamin to use the new phpBB 3.0 Olympus software. To share in this experience we are looking for one other administrator to learn the phpBB 3 ropes (the admin backend is superb) with myself and a few Moderators to take advantage of the new Moderator features. Of course though, our main requisite is new members to get the discussions flowing. Every member to register before the launch of the Nintendo Wii will be automatically entered into our prize draw, for a prize which is yet to be announced. Each member can also personally help in the development Wii Lounge by reporting back any problems and glitches they find. If nothing else, it's worth registering just to experience the new features of phpBB. Top on the to-do list is a custom skin for Wii Lounge. A few other promotional type campaigns and a couple of innovative new community features are also in the pipeline . Rest assured, Wii Lounge will be one of the leading gaming communities on the web.
