Have you ever heard this before? But this happened to me to one of my sites. I run a website http://www.financeandinsurancetips.com/ When it was usual update from Google for PR on 31st Dec,09 i got a PR4. It was really good and then on 6th Jan, 2010 the PR vanished. Is that amazing? Yes, dear people i checked it through every source i can check, through toolbars, through prchecker etc but all replied me same result as - N/A. But today i opened my website and i saw that it gained back the PR to 4. I then again checked through various sources and it is still PR4.. I am really happy and not questioning success but do anyone has faced this before or what can be the reason behind this?...
It's common, usually will settle down within a week. Only when nothing happen after 2 weeks, then you know that the website suffers penalty from Google.
Do not worry, this happens from time to time, in the next 24 hours Google will revise your PR, and if it is PR 4 in their eyes, they will give it to you in due course. TheComputingGeek
Yeah, had the same thing happen to my website too. It's common when Google still in the PR updating period.
I have noticed this as well. Not too many times on my websites, but it does occur. I love PR4, it's the easiest PageRank to get to without needing tons and tons of backlinks. Once I can get a website to PR5 or PR6 it'll be sick!
don't take care much more on PR, didn't google announce that they are going to reduce the influence of PR several months before?
