Wierd Characters

I'm pretty confused at the mintue about something. I've just being on a thread in the domains for sale section and seen threads that have stars nd other things in their title.

I also opened up a thread and saw a member had stars as their location.

How do you do this, is there something i'm missing when you create a thread, or is there some sort of keyboard combination you can do to get them?

 

You can find a lot of symbols (stars, lines, etc.) in Microsoft Word

 

There are a lot of symbols in some text editing software or in this message like this
Example: ñ ► ▓ ç æ ‡ † ™
these are called ASCII code like example if you want to do this symbol † all you just need to do is press alt then hit the number 0,1,3,4 then release the alt key you will get the result † if you did that, if you want some information about some codes you can just search it on google and the keyword is "ASCII CODE".

 

Well i didn't knew all that before. DP everyday adds some usefull information which i have never heard before, Thanks DP members.
