It's better to withdraw during the weekend where the trading is halted.

Forex trading does not halt, trades round the clock.
PP has its own exchange rates, that is draw back with paypal.

You can check it using their Currency Converter !

It will show how much they will pay you for your money !
That option comes when you click on "Withdraw money via Bank"

those rates are not as WYSIMOLWYG. it does not mean with the online exchange rates. those are interbank rates, not for the people. you can not get these same exchange.

XE(.)com you can get some idea. I use FXware for for my desktop. do not match two converters at a single currency. at single amount.

    But paypal is ridiculous.

Paypal will take a certain percentage when you convert to another currency.

I live in Singapore and I convert US dolars to Singapore dollars.

If the exchange rate is high, you just convert to your own currency.

    Hope this helps.

I checked my bank statement and the conversion was made at MasterCard/VISA's exchange rate. Generally, those rates are pretty good.

To aimex77: PayPal take a certain percentage when you convert to another currency in your PayPal account, not on withdraw.
