And how could you say that?

Now that is realistic rate. This gives them more chance of survival in today's competitive world.

Personally, this is a wait and watch one for me ... give them a couple of months and see where they are - if you're cautious then stay away, if not sign-up.

I don't think it's a scam. I am using it at http://www.lifeiscolourful.com and till now, getting $0.30 per click which is not bad at all.

Read my post WidgetBucks, New Hot Entrant in PPC World - Earn $25 Sign up Bonus on WidgetBucks

By the way, I have replaced adsense ads with this - so I am kind of firm believer of WidgetBucks as of now.

There is no harm in believing in what they say - as they are backed up with big advertisers.

By the way, do you know companies like shopping.com or pricerunner.com pay $0.10 per click through Commission Junction - CJ might be keeping bigger chunk of the commission - here WB might not be.

You misunderstood me , I should not say they are Scam as I've not tested them - sorry for this.

But it's only my opnion that they are looking like scam ,
but as many members are stated that the CTR is getting low so probably such expensive clicks is such kind of promotion to kick start their business and after it they'll drop prices for clicks . But I'm sure that they can't survive if they'll continue keep high CPC

BTW don't they have profile at DP ?

I would agree with the thread title. It's stupid and can help to damage a business when infact nobody knows if it is a scam or not.

From what I have seen the ads look great and the networks design, the only downfall is the time it takes to load their ads onto your website. It takes a little to long I think.

Some people say its a valid network and is here to stay.. some people say its just a scam and will not sustain..

Are you going for it? Are you building your referrals to earn 10% of their revenue?

Yes? Then what you have to loose if this network fails. Its your time you devoted to this and some rev.

No? If you get later on the bandwagon you will earn only your part of revenue, because at that time it will be very difficult to get any referrals.

So, I am on the bandwagon, what about you? I have got 16 referrals as of now and I know some who have got more than 70 :)

So, if this doesn't work out, I loose all of them and my advertising cost ($100). But what if it works?

    Think about it.

I have installed it at my website. I don't know for sure if its scam or not ? Let us all wait and see if it works out or not ? I shall post here if I get anything out of it into my accounts.

I'm going to be trying them out on links.com. Should be interesting. I was just thinking today what a lock Google has on the industry right now. Anytime they need more earnings, all they have to do is cut into the revenue share they they give to publishers. There is no agreement of any kind, so Google can pretty much do what they want. I have definitely lost earnings every quarter prior to Google announcing their earnings. Competition is very healthy. I believe that it is very easy for a start-up to share much more (if they are well financed) in order to break into the marketplace. If Widgetbucks is successful, I believe that Google will be forced to compete and that publishers will reap some of the rewards, with a more even playing field. The proof will be in the pudding, but advertising on the web is definitely ripe for some competition.

Suraja, using affiliate links in your post is not allowed in DP. You can put it in your signature but not in post.
You may get easily banned for that.

I'm with you Jim, I'm willing to give it a shot - what's to loose ?

If you have look at where the products are coming from they are well spread out amongst many wholesale/auction/suppliers, as long as this keeps up we'll all be fine - they (WB) will just gather even more advertisers for their widgets and thus increase the Clicks value.

You may see more advertisers jumping on board with WB and cutting out the other publishers like Amazon or eBay for example and use WB as their main source for advertising.

My advice is simple and a general rule when working on line.
Just don't go putting all your eggs in the one basket, I still maintain several other sites with different ad's - mainly in the adult industry, more income sources can be great for everyone.
