Widgetbucks - Temporarily Suspended

Hi guys and gals,

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

I had made some posts on threads about Widgetbucks where people were having problems logging into their accounts. I was one such person.

I just got a reply back from Widgetbucks, and was told that my account was suspended because I used a widget on a Non-English site, which was against their terms and conditions.

I plead guilty to this - I didn't see this point in the T&C, and I accept it was wrong to place the widget in a non-English site.

In the email from them, they told me that if I remove the widget from this non-English site, they would reactivate my account.

Fair enough - I removed the widget from this site, and have now just logged into my account.

What do I see ??

All my other widgets are gone - earnings ( from the Widgets that we working fine on English Sites ) are non-existant as there are no widgets to earn from !!!

WTF - They wiped out my entire account ?? Any earnings I made are now just going straight into their pocket ???

This is what their email said to me ...

Alex, your account was suspended due to one or more non-English sites, which is a violation of our Terms and Conditions. The XXXXX(One of my English Sites)XXXX site is fine, so if you can remove widget from the XXXXXX.net(my Non-english site) site and delete that widget, then your account will be restored – please email me once you have taken the ad off the non-english site.

I see no mention in this email about all my other widgets being deleted, all my earnings being deleted.

I admit that using the widget in the non-English site was against their T&C - ( Maybe I should actually read these once in a while ), but what about my other widgets that were in English sites ???

If my earnings from this non-English site were deleted from my account, are Widgetbucks going to return the payments back to the advertisers ?? I don't think so. My earnings where nothing really - $30-$40, but the actualy dollar value isn't my point here.

I feel slightly scammed by what they have done to me. I know that many others here have reported seeing their earning cut drastically, but has anyone else experienced something like this what has happened to me ??

Just wondering what others here think before I even think again about bothering with Widgetbucks. Maybe after another few months, they will find something else to suspend my account for, and take any earnings I may have earnt.

Sorry to hear that.

Widgetbucks seems to pay much, but they have many problems.

Btw, I know you on NP, Alex.

I think they should remove the renevue generated by non-English site only.

I had somewhat of a related problem, i deleted all my widgets so i can start from scrath. Little do i know that deleting a widget deletes all the earnings from it. Is this a bug or did they already know this but didn't put it in the FAQ or didn't inform users about this?

 

Yes, the same problem with deletion of widgets.
I think their system is very raw.

 

i think they are fraud . and i think after reading alex in the end of the month they suspend the account and remove all the earning payment and try to convience to start from the begining again so that in the next month they do the same in the end.
