Widgetbucks Sucks !!! They don't pay you , WARNING : Don't sign up !!!

I just signed up with widgetbucks just right now. I will post here my experience with widgetbucks.

 

You know this thread hasn't been updated in forever, but let me just bump it to say i HATE widgetbucks really, I mean personally if i could cache out the 23$ i earned (you know 25 they gave + 23 i earned) i would have willingly left but no, im sitting for for 2 months throwing thousands and thousands of impressions at them and i've earned this month... a grand total of... 4 cents... yes 4 f*cking cents! Wanna hear the funny part, since its been the same this month and last month idecided to put adsdaq on this adunit with widgetbucks as the failover, and i put adsdaq at an insanely high 2.50 cpm for the same ad unit... and guess what... i earned over a buck in the first day for this exact same ad unit....

I HATE WIDGETBUCKS, i sooooo wish they'd let me cash out what i've earned and scrap their "gift"... at this point i want to cut and run but after so long with them on this ad unit i'd really hate to abandon it and just give them the 23 bucks even if it is only 23 bucks....

they deserved that .

 

I have used widgetbucks for some time now and have not had any problems with payments or customer service. However, I do recall that at the beginning they were slow in the customer service area but I think they have improved that now.

 

I've heard bad things about WidgetBucks, but thing is.. I've not really had any problems with it..

This email is to inform you that Mpire Corporation, the parent company
of Widgetbucks, has made the decision to refocus resources outside of
the advertising network space. As such, the company will be
discontinuing support of the Widgetbucks publisher network. All
existing publisher accounts will be turned off effective Thursday, March
10, 2010.

Once your account is deactivated, you will no longer be able to access
your account statistics via the Widgetbucks.com portal. According to
section 6 (b) of the terms of service, located at
http://www.widgetbucks.com/terms.page, Mpire will pay Publisher Payment,
subject to a minimum of U.S. $50.00. Account balances below the minimum
threshold of $50 are forfeited in accordance with Section 8;
Termination; of the terms of service.

All publishers with outstanding balances greater than $50.00 USD as of
March 10, 2010 will be paid out in full on March 15. Publishers with
balances less than $50 will forfeit the balance of their accounts.

We will follow up with an email with the balance of your account as of
closing of your account so that you are aware of the balance that will
be paid to you on March 15.

We truly appreciate you having been a member of the Widgetbucks Network
and wish you the best of luck in future endeavors.

It appears so.
I could tell something was wrong in January time when they stopped accepting new publishers and their website support ceased.
Still, I got a few dollars out of them when they were good.

 

It looks they don't like to pay much... thanks for the warning!
