Widgetbucks Sucks !!! They don't pay you , WARNING : Don't sign up !!!

The reason i signed up for widget bucks is because popular bloggers endorsed it . As per their terms they are supposed to pay via paypal or check 45 days after the earnings have crossed $50 . If that were true they were supposed to pay me 5 months back !!! .

I have contacted their support team at least 10 times but to no use , I even tried to reach them through " big " bloggers who fanatically endorse them . I messaged Darren Rowse the author of problogger.net . This was his reply :


Still no support !!! If he can't get support how can I ???

Its pretty obvious that widgetbucks is very unprofessional at what they do . And their ads sucks to the core , and do i expect them to pay me ? NO. Do I want them to ? Not any more .
In fact if anyone from widgetbucks is reading this please keep the amount as charity .I know your economy is bad .

From the start widgetbucks has been a poor earner , it obvious from their actions (rather their ignorance) that their technical / support team is a bunch of mutated monkeys and they don't even pay you for the pathetic pennies you make !!!

The reason I even started this thread is to warn you against this scam and prevent you from blindly signing up by being tempted by their stupid ' limited time sign up bonus' .

DON'T SIGN UP even if popular bloggers like Con John chow and Darren rowse endorse it and sing praises to it all day .( Its just not limited to them)

I conclude by saying that I have nothing against the bloggers who endorse it , after all you aren't suppose to bite the hand that feeds you right ??? I just hope that they would be unbiased at least now and warn their readers . Widget bucks is a Pathetic adsense alternative - you did a bad job unbanning them google .

yeah !!!!!!! i remember when they started, people like what ?? WB is better than adsense, and all this kind of posts.

nothing compared to adsense, even yahoo and msn trying, and its not working our for them.
the answer is simple, some companies think the world is located only in the US, so the traffic should be pure US to make money, they forget about the rest of the world (its all third world for them), and thats fine with me, their companies, their rules !!

adsense show you ads and support ads almost for every country, advertisers and publishers from everywhere, they pay and they get payed.

hmm the payment should be sent on May since you already reach the quota for the month of march.

the problem on wb is the luck of customer support that make them look worst.

On my part they are paying on time and never missed. What I like on widgetbucks is I'm getting .20 per click on my chosen product.

they are offering $25 incentive, so you only need $25 more to get paid.

 

Then how can they even compare themselves to adsense in that case . " Ads suck our don't" - BALLZ
Plus I hear they only pay users who bring them 'new sign ups' so they can scam more people . Enjoy them while they last . Good luck

P.S: they pay me around 0.01 per click and their ecpm is in 0.0x decimal places .

 

I wanted to jump into this thread to offer some input from WidgetBucks here. First, however, Igizmore, you should see payment in your PayPal account. It appears you did not receive our Wed, Aug 6th, 5:37 pm PT email indicating that your account information was incomplete (listed as being in US w/o SS#). Incidentally that was sent directly to the email address we have on your account again yesterday but has bounced back. Pls send me a PM with an updated email address. Now that we know you are in India, we've updated your info (which doesn't require SS#) and made the payment. Cheers.

i am reaching my 50 ... But my last month is still not added ...... But as a proxy webmaster we hav very lil choices available!

 

I did use a valid email . If Adsense , chitika , kontera and adbrite can contact me through my rediff email address I don't find a reason why widgetbucks can't .
That excuse makes little sense , because their support team deleted my complaints once I posted them on their support site .

1) If Adsense , Adbrite , Chitika and Kontera can contact me via my rediff email address I don't see why big fart Widget bucks can't ??? Plus can't they resend or contact me via the chat on my blog where my alternate email ID is also given ??? ... Bounced email my arse !!!

2) My payments clearly crossed $50 by 31st March (see pic in first post) , They should have paid me 45 days later meaning by 15th of May !!! So how can an email that bounced back in AUGUST affect it ??? You guys can see into the future ??? Plus how come I get you effin news letters and can't get your "sincere support mails" ???

3) It's pretty clear that DJutilla hurried to see that I got paid just to silence me and not to take active care of correcting this problem . 'Why?', you ask. Because I logged in to my widgetbucks account and clicked on the "My bucks" tab where my payments are yet to be processed even though I have been paid ... .hmmmmmm... strike 3

4) If you need more evidence that Widgetbucks are a shady , good for nothing , cheap , dishonest , uneducated , unethical and unprofessional
online 'penny' maker then you should seriously consider printing this thread out and popping it up your bottom .

Its evident that Widgetbucks is a horrible online revenue maker .
Their eCPM is shamefully low , their technically team to quote my self 'are a bunch of mutated moneys' . They not only refuse paying you they even LIE to you and blame others on it . Plus its pretty unconvincing defense coming from a person who has a "WidgetBucks: $25 Sign Up Bonus in October Only" in their signature . . No offense .

 

I read perfectly well.
I promote them because I've never had any trouble with them and they've always paid me well and on time.
I don't think I offered a defence. I merely stated that I was happy with them.

Plus its pretty odd for a 'ordinary' widgetbucks user to go to such lengths to show how happy they are with the service. You have defended them on various other threads before - Strange !

Anyways whatever be the reason I request you to promote them responsibly . I have nothing against you . And in no way is their excuse responsible or even sightly valid.

Not strange, no. I just feel obliged to balance the argument when someone comes along with a sweeping statement like "they don't pay" because that's untrue. They do pay.

 

actually your right they did pay me ... 5 months LATE and only after they found this thread to be a 'threat' to their fictitious 'goodwill' . Your arguments are not balanced , they are actually pretty illogical and biased . They paid you on time hurray , good for you , congratulations ... now stop being a fan boy . If they were as good as you claim to be why are they many who have problems with it ? a quick google search will give you a true sense . Stop kissin their ass already
