Widgetbucks is a scam.

Well, I've given them all the time in the world but I'm finally done. I earned the $50 (minimum for cashout) in July, 2008. My "My bucks" page, at that time, did not show any earnings since May or something ridiculous. Since then, its updated to June.

They basically stopped paying (cpm was like 15 cents) but I kept running them to eke out that last few dollars to get to the cashout limit.

They say "Finalized earnings are posted upon completion of traffic auditing, typically during the first ten days of the subsequent month."

Well, as of today it has been more than 40 days since earnings were updated, and when I put in a support ticket, it went unanswered for a week and then was deleted without a response.

As far as I'm concerned, Widgetbucks is a scam. Has anyone been paid or even gotten their balance updated in recent times?

 

I wish I coulda told ya, but in my years of trying all sorts of programs, none work they way you want to.

I'm sorry you had to waste all your time there, and I'd recommend giving them some harsh emails... maybe you can get your money and run. Best of luck.

 

Well, I thought they were legit at the beginning... they were very popular here.

 

they aren't a scam. i get paid monthly by them. not real impressed with the $/click but they are legit. send them another email is my suggestion.

Widgetbucks is NOT a scam. Do not put out such lies. My friend and his partner been getting paid from them since early this year. The only reason they stop using them is they found something to bring in more income from their site.

 

If they stopped, how do you know now?

 

Because I still use them.

As far as I'm concerned, a company that deletes support tickets and doesn't pay its users is a scam. They are local to me and I am going to stop by as soon as I get a chance.

 

They do pay their publishers. So that makes them not a scam.

 

i dont use them, but they are quite reptuable.. so i dont think it's a scam, contact their support if you need help...

Widgetbucks is a cross-breed critter, it's an 80% legit and 20 scam scheme. I'm saying this because I'm one of those folks who haven't receive a buck from them. The 25USD is just a bait to entice you to join their program. There's no argument that some folks received their money but a lot of affiliates also haven't collected their fair share as well.

To update, I was paid yesterday. Better late than never, I guess. Still never got a reply to any of my support inquiries.

 

i stopped that idiot ad network after 2 weeks use and when i look the earing stats

 

I told you they pay.

 

Uh, a month late and only because I harassed them to do so.

 

Widgebucks is 100% legit and pays, BUT their rates has been dropping steadily last year.
