We have many different sites that average $.90 to $2.19 per click. We don't have a single site running adsense that the average click (over the month) is less than $.30/c. Running widgetbucks on those same sites means less money since it's very limited in it's advertising offerings. I tested further yesterday and today on a site that is computer-related and has a decent amount of traffic. Widgetbucks received less clicks than did our adsense ads before it (though I am going to give it more time), and with adsense we earned $.34/c on average. So far every single click for widgetbucks (for us) is exactly $.28/c. Other people might have different experiences, but I am just telling our tale.
Yeah that's the standard price for the plain widget/merch sense, the others vary : Games and CDs - about 7 cents Consoles - 27 cents Computers - 43 cents Home Theatre - 41 cents So the merch sense is like in the middle. Yeah and if computer is slow or busy on other pages, I get a "Continuing to run the flash player will slow down computer, do you wish to continue running flash" or similar.
This is becoming a hot topic post, the google PR update. We guys actually need something to pass the time.
