I think he is in first 5000 because he registered in the first week and WidgetBucks claimed that they got 5000 registration in just one week.

 

Members who joined before 10 October 2007 were in the first 5000 sign ups.

 

do you people think widget is better than adsense ?

 

For some yes, for some no.

I am using their referral system. So if they will pay, their referral system is surely better than adsense.

 

I am having my best day so far :

39 clicks for $7.59 .

I have tried out some targetted traffic to iPods and Consoles, click through rates are pretty high - 34 clicks for 405 impressions is my best for consoles (today) - they don't pay as much as Entertainment systems or iPods but consoles are getting good results.

Yeah I am slowly learning the tricks - same principal as similar ad's I guess :

In a Good Spot that's clear to the eye.
Not below the fold like a few have said.
Keep pages simple to increase loading speed.
Only have 2 (widgets) on a page.
Update to new code - it is faster.
Blends well with adsense.

Yeah that is similar to what I have done but the CTR still seems lower to me. I wish they have even more categories then they did and the keywords of my site could match them directly.

 

They needn't be matched directly to your keywords.
All people need for instance popular product such as digital camera.

Beauty in widget is because these product aren't that keyword specific instead of adsense.

But widget product are much more popular so i am getting 10% ctr from only
one widget that aren't many to do with content of my site.

But its popular so you can get high ctr.

Please read the thread completely. First payment will be in the month of December. That means, nobody got paid yet.

 

My only winge thus far is the fluctuating CPC, my advice is : don't go budgeting your spending amount and Return On Investment until you have the the black figures - seems the higher the CTR the lower the CPC will drop.

My merchsense is still hoverring around $10 cpm.

 

I can't wait to see the earnings and referral commission I've earned in October.

 

I joined under you few days back. I got 2 referrals also. I noticed that I got 45 cents form a click. Now I have to try for better traffic. I have a 'good hope' about WidgetBucks.

 

My account has 40$+ right now they pay per month.. right?

 

Yes they pay every month now. I have gotten paid two times so far both one time and were for a few hundred dollars. They sent payment by Paypal too which was great!

 

So when Jan. ends i will get my payment in mid febuary or the 5th?

 

You should get it in February when I first joined it took a few months to get paid but I believe they changed it now to ever month. Read the FAQ and Blog on the main site and send them an e-mail. Also, make sure you have the minimum payout.

 

Do they have a customer service department because I've had their ads on my site for 5 days and its showing 0 impression.
