Widget Problem

Basically the widgets aren't working. I can't add/delete a widget or modify the sidebar.

Anybody know how to fix this? It's happened on several blogs.

    Thanks

I don't use widgets so I am just guessing here. Have you updated your theme recently?

Do you have widget-enabled (dynamic) sidebar in your theme?
If no look at this page: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-enable-widgets-in-non-widget-enabled-themes

Yes it's the latest version of WP.

And yes it's widget enabled I tried switching to the default WP theme, but I still can't add or delete the widgets. It's not that much of a problem when it's a new site, but I have a site that's a few months old and would like to add some new widgets.

    Thanks
