Hey Guys, Has anyone used WhyPark*Com. I have more than a 100 domains parked at SEDO but getting a paltry sum of $20 / MONTH. Any ideas for domain monetization? Thanks a lot
What are the advantages in parking? 20$/month for 100 domains? Why would you park them? Wouldn't it be better to do even if its just an advartising page and make some random content from time to time to improve google score?
Creating original content mini-websites is always the most effective way to go. This is especially true if you have keyword related domain names. Hope this helps.
I have read another thread on this forum that Why Park is superb for domains. They allow you to advertise your domains and posting backlinks in forums etc. Search around this forum for another whypark thread. This guy is making $10-20 p[er month per domain if I remember well
namedrive sucks definetely, try to park your domains on them and you'll see the results. well i can tell you that, sedo is better than namedrive but if you dont want to work with them just try parked and bodis.
I also use Whypark, their pages do not convert as well as sedo's, but they will generate more traffic for your sites which can make up for that. Use google adsense instead of whypark's own ad network for the best results. I have written an article describing the different ways to monetize domain names.
I too use WhyPark, and it's great. I have several domains with whypark that earn at least $1/day. $20/month for 100 domains doesn't even pay for the domains themselves! However, I should point out that WhyPark is not your traditional domain parking service. If you just import the domains and leave it at that, you'll likely earn less than you do with Sedo. However, if you build even a few backlinks for the domains, you'll see a lot more traffic which will make up for it just like Twoism said. It'll take some work, but you can easily generate a hell of a lot more than $20/month as I point out on this page: http://www.timmyth.com/page.cfm/id/39708. That page shows the economics of hosting 100 domains at whypark, and an estimate of how much you can make if each domain generates just ten cents per day. I recommend it if you're willing to put a little time in building backlinks, but if you want some return for the least work possible, stick with sedo.
I've tried Parked and Namedrive. I have about 150 domains and make about $1/mo (not kidding). Namedrive had the most customizable landing pages I've seen out of everything else, but the payoff just sucks. I wish I knew how to make more money off of my domains... and it's not even like they're crappy domains...they're mainly 2 and 3 word keyword .com's.
Check out WhyPark. I have ~12 domains (out of ~50) that earn at least $1/day from adsense. They also earn me money from audio ads and affiliate links. I got a nice check for $427 froom linkconnector last month. I just don't understand why people still bother with traditional parking...
I have been receiving higher EPC (earnings per click) and higher monthly checks ever since I got into Sedo Pro. I have domain names parked at Sedo Pro, Name Drive, Fabulous, and Parked.com and Sedo Pro seems to pay the most in my honest and humble opinion. (Please be aware that PPC everywhere have declined recently probably because of the crappy economy) Sedo Pro shares with you a higher percentage of revenue or as they call it a "bonus". If your domain names are doing well on Sedo Pro and earning a decent monthly revenue then after a few months Sedo Pro might incorporate into your account a higher % bonus so each PPC will give it's regular earning per click plus an additional percentage back based on what your Sedo Pro bonus % is. (I hope I explained that well and in proper English) P.S. If you own at least 200 domain names or are making at least $200 in revenue you can apply for Sedo Pro. In order to apply you need a Sedo Pro member to give you an endorsement code. For more info or to receive an endorsement code please feel free to pm (private message) me or email me to Thank you!! P.P.S. Also try using Google Keywords that might help you figure out the right highest paid keywords for your domain names. Here is the link: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal If you go to www.youtube.com you can youtube search for "Google Keywords tutorials" (or change the search words around) and maybe you will find a video that somebody posted that'll show you how to use the Google Keywords Tool. You can also reply on this thread and I will try my BEST to explain to you how to use the Google Keywords.
