I am just curious about something. People get banned for little things like bumping threads in BST and writing things like PM me or Im Intrested right? But how comes people like this idiot get away with posting crap like this? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=10493763&postcount=18 Just seems a bit ironic to me.
Perhaps because the post has not yet been seen by a mod, remember they dont always go looking for posts which break the rules but if you think it breaks the rules then use the report post button ( ) but you shouldnt have posted the reply you did, it's just as worthy for a ban as his IMO like the description in the politics and religion forum says "This is for anything related to world politics and religion. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it (you will be banned)."
Personally, I never go into the Politics and Religion forum, because I would never get any other moderating done. If you don't like what the person is writing, put them on your ignore list; if it's blatantly offensive, use the report button; if you don't like what people are saying about your God, faith, leader, or favorite candy bar, then don't go in there.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention. You've both been dealt with for your own parts in it. If you can't handle the P&R section stay out. Or if you really want a mod to go spend some time in there, I'm happy to do it - just don't be surprised when half of the members posting in there are outta here. And if either one of you posts that kind of crap again when you're back, the next ban will be a permanent one.
