Working online and having a homebased business is the perfect occupation for me Here are just a few of the reasons... - my "commute" to work is a piece of cake! - I can wear my robe if I want to - I set my own business hours - I go fishing on occasion - I walk the dog when I feel like it - I'm at home when my kids get home from school
1. Can work from anywhere (e.g. recently I've worked from a beach in Thailand, a villa in the south of France, a farm in rural New York, and a friend's un-rented apartment in Hong Kong) 2. Can (sort of) manage to take care of my kid while working, now that he's started to fall asleep to the sound of my typing 3. Only one factor in choosing clothes: Is it comfortable? 4. All meetings are conducted on speakerphone so I can space out or do other things during the boring parts without appearing rude 5. Can maximise productivity by napping and eating whenever my body requests it 6. Can take a day off whenever I want
Time, time, time, time.... 1 - More time for my kids...!! ( I've never missed a school event or anything in their lives because I work for me! ) 2 - More time for work... ( not pinned to a set time schedule so I can take as much work as I have time for.. ) 3 - More $$$$... ( my overhead is close to zero therefore my pricing can be more competitive... ) 4 - Time for me! ( I can go to the gym, the beach, take a walk, have a drink, when I want... ) 5 - Lastly, I'm a terrible employee because I things done my way and no way better than me doing what I do best, my way..... Make money, make money, make money it really is that simple, the fac ti learn new things when wrting articles and making sites is a bonus it has made me much more knowledgeable about things... i also study law starting second year so doing some thing on the side to pay my way for holidays etc is always good but this has alwys been a hobby of myne, now oive had enough of real world work and plan on making 12 new affiliate site sin the next 30 days to start earning a decent cash flow rather than the 1 site a month i use to do.
I spent 15 years in sales driving 40k miles / year. Long hours, alot of traffic, boring job. I now work 4 hours / day doing something I love doing. I see my efforts earning serious money for me, not my old boss. I have flexibility, massive earning potential and I do something different almost every day. WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO WORK ONLINE????? I don't have to work for a boss, I can do/build what I want, everything I do online is my property, I can start & stop when I like, I make money whilst I sleep. Good reasons?
I plan to retire like 30-40 years earlier than with a reguler job. Also the freedom and the vast amounts of money you can earn also account to why I choose to work online. I'm more of an investor than a webmaster I just look for capital growth in what I do rarther than playing building websites.
I totally agree with this. And I think it is environmental friendly as you don't need to travel to work.
