why you use yahoo

Google is mainly used these days, use google!

I use yahoo very often just for the fact that it has current events and news right on the homepage. Any "news breaking" incidents or pop culture events happening within the past 24 hours is usually posted right away. The search is not all that bad and I like the fact that it's messenger service does work well, which it seems that others have mentioned in this forum. But I also use google when I really need a refined answer.

 

Most of people are using Google...and i also prefer to use Google

 

I use yahoo messenger for chatting to get in touch with my friends and family, use yahoomail for business purpose.

 

and now a days i hate Yahoo they force to install there toolbar and making yahoo as home page

 

Ya i never use yahoo i always use Google because Google gives more relevant and fast results..

 

Only because of yahoo messenger..

More communication option.
Video chat.
Photo & file sharing.
Archiving your IM conversation.
More control over privacy. for e.g making yourself invisible.

 

So far i haven't used yahoo to search something because the google has been indexed with so much of need you really searching for so why will one search in yahoo. Yahoo is only good for mail and for news...

Never use yahoo.

 

i don't use yahoo search engine too. but most not techy people use them. and they usually click ads.

 

Yahoo best for Answer and messenger services. Google is best for search, Gmail . Google docs, youtube . app engine , open social and so many ..

I dont hate yahoo . however I am waiting for the day to see . Microsoft's dead coffin . Greedy microsoft will be gone in the near future .

upcoming years gonna be cloud computing era and microsoft will definately lose .

Yahoo is a portal....Not pure search engine
Yahoo is mostly used in countries like japan,koria and less used in english countries.
So if you are number 1 for a keyword also chances of less traffic

 

I like Yahoo for non-search stuff
but for search Google is best

Yahoo messenger is the best IM tool I know. It is easy to use and it looks better than the others. It also has more features.

 

i only use yahoo for answers. not for searching. Google...

 

I still use the Yahoo Messenger, but that's about it. I've slowly been using more and more Google services. Maybe it's because I'm also using Adsense on some of my websites. You can call me a Google fan-boy, lol.
