Too many people think that if they build a site on Monday they should start making money on Tuesday. It doesn’t work like that and it will never work that way. Making money on the internet takes time. When I first started with Internet Marketing, I was buying every eBook I could get my hands on, but what I was doing wrong was I was not reading the material from cover to cover. I was always looking for a shortcut or for some tools or program to do all the hard work for me. Granted some of the eBooks I purchased where pretty good and other were junk or rehashed information. When I finally sat down and started looking at Internet Marketing as a business and not a hobby everything changed. I make some very good money online now because I realize that in order to be successful online you have to be patient. I know now that if I build a site correctly today, I might not receive any money benefits from that site for weeks, maybe months from now. Once I learned how to do on-page optimization, off-page optimization, and proper back linking, I started getting targeted traffic to my sites. At first, I was getting traffic, but it was the wrong kind of traffic. Just because someone visits your site, doesn’t mean they will buy what you have to sell. You want to get targeted traffic and that is people that are interested in the product you have to offer. Anyone can build a website, but only the people that build a site the right way are making money. You got to learn how to do SEO right and how to get the right types of backlinks pointing to your site. Google is banning sites that just put up junk and expect people to visit their sites. The days of putting up a site with 350 – 600 words are over. Your content needs to be around 700 plus words and it need to be relevant. When someone conducts a search in Google and they come across a website that meets their search criteria, Google wants to make sure that site information is relevant to the search query. You will not make it to page one of the search engines if you put up a crappy site. And if you do get lucky enough to get on the first page, you will not stay there long. The key is to do it right the first time and forget about it. If you follow this basic advice you will start making money online.
Could not agree more with OP. Too many people have this idea that all they have to do is throw up a website and start raking in the dough. What they are forgetting is that they are entering the largest most competitive market on the planet. The key to success is consistency, hard work and dedication!
Too many website sets up and it is competitive .Without hard work and skills ,it is hard to be on top of search engine and get customers .
There are several eBooks that I purchased that helped me getting a better understanding of how Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing really works. When I purchased the eBooks I paid between $37 - $67 each. Now you can get some very good eBooks for less $10. Here are a few good ones you can get that are filled with very useful information: Introduction to Indexing, Link Building, and SEO - $7 Twitter Marketing Made Easy - This One is FREE Massive Blog Traffic - Secrets to Getting More Traffic - $7 For less than the cost of one meal you can get lots of great information, but the key is to read the information and follow the steps.
That's good info. I promote ClickBank in a similar way (with a few minor differences). I was wondering, using your method, wouldn't you have problems ranking in Google because of the content that is identical on all your customer's sites? Wouldn't it be hard to promote them (at least using SEO)?
I promote a lot of newbie friendly products. I try to give someone just starting out a way to make some money online without having to learn too many things at once. The problem with Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing is when you first start out you really don't know where to begin. There is so much information that you get information overload. You start on one thing then you jump to another and another. And before you know it you have learn a little bit of this and a little bit or that, but you have not mastered any one thing in particular. I got lucky when I first got into this business, I found out about forums and membership sites. I joined Wealthy Affiliate and Millionaire Society. What I liked about them was they gave me a 30 day plan. Each day I had to perform certain task and before I could do the next days task, I had to complete the day prior. This gave me structure and a plan to follow. It also helped keep me focused. And if I ran into problems, there were members there to help me out. Until you learn the basics like proper keyword research, SEO, backlinks, email marketing, and traffic generation techniques you will have a hard time making steady money online. As a side note another great program to help anyone find the right niche to promote is Micro Niche Finder. This is a excellent program to help you find those unsaturated niche markets. It is hard to find just one program or system to make steady money online. You really have to combine several programs together to give you everything you need to make your online business a complete business.
