It is about what the advertisers want.If Yahoo don't have advertisers that want others zones than US , they don't go. I hope they will come in european countries.

A friend who work for a firm that manage the adwords campaigns for some european firms(from Germany,Italy,Luxemburg,Netherland), say to me they had 84000 clicks from asian zone and no sell. Also clicks from Eastern Europe are coverting very bad in sells.

So, they now use some methods to avoid users from that zones to see their ads and click.

There are a majority of YPN advertisers I know, plus myself. I don't see why I shouldn't able to use their publisher program. I think it's time we need to think about, or they, eventually they should come out of beta, but who says they'll spread globally once out of beta? - They may just continue to stick in the US Market.

Yahoo ia getting very late.. I always tried to register with them and get the same reply. And for a company like yahoo.. this time is too much. If they try to target only US users then its going to be a big waste of time, while others will be high above them in market.

I think YPN don’t have that strong anti fraud system like Google and for yahoo major portion of revenue are from US. Expanding there network in countries from Asia or Middle East can drop there trust for their advertisers and this could cause a revenue drop.

    They are still in beta.
As far as I know that is the longest beta sofware that I ever know.

Once they figureout all the issues they will come out of beat.
-- Yes they do have some serious issues - (ad targetting is the main one)

I wonder if the reason for them not allowing other countries besides US has something to do with their search marketing setup. They separated all the different countries for search marketing so if you want to run ads in more than one country you need to open up a separate account in each country and track each one separately. That was really dumb. Maybe eventually ypn will have a similar setup.

I don't think YPN will be available this year, and not even for first half of next year at least. Now in the US alone, they are having so many issues.

I've long given up on them, if and when they come but all the signs point to them not going global for a very long time to come. The only good thing I see is their Paypal payment mode. They seem even more strict than Adsense!

YPN itself has not come to India but, they have invested in a company called Tyroo. They have invested around 35%.
    Check it out : www.tyroo.com

It'sbeen in beta since it started I guess, but I don't know for how more long they will call it beta. I guess it's easy to call something beta and when people complain about something not working then you can simply just say: "It's in beta, what did you expect?"

I think the public beta was launched August 5th 2005, so almost two years ago.

I don't think you are right to just put this bluntly. Yahoo has got a better coverage of it's maps for the entire world. Fir instance Mauritius, is covered fully in yahoo map, but not in google map. That's a plus. Thus, they will be able to better control it.

I think USA is a massive internet user, it is better to work on a region with a massive concentration to have a better idea and to be able to improve upon quickly.

Any way I think, Adsense is better than the Yahoo Publisher.
