    Hi guys,

We are facing the page crawling issues with one of our major product www.templatesrule.com The website has more then 2000 pages/templates and most of them are being crawled by google but yahoo is not showing any prgress since last couple of months and stick with just few pages. why it is not crawling the other pages. We even have submitted the sitemap. Is there anything we can do to tell yahoo about the other pages?

    Thanks
    Ryan

that's usually normal for yahoo.. they are really slow when it comes to crawling and indexing pages.. just continue building some links on your other pages..

I think yahoo crawls slowly on a normal day. It isn't as fast as google crawler. Maybe you should go with @seoliving's option and it may help.

Yahoo crawling definitely is not as good as the Google one, so you're going to have to work harder in order to get many of your pages listed in Yahoo. It will take a lot of hard work, time and dedication, but if you keep building good, quality links to your site pages then you will start to get indexed a lot more by Yahoo. :)

Comparing Google with Yahoo, the difference is huge: the market share, the income, the number of datacenters - Google has many datacenters spread over many countries. Yahoo is obviously the David in the David and Goliath fight, and its tech is proportional. Simple enough, Yahoo doesn't have the resources Google has, and its web spider bots won't crawl as much as the competition's ones.

Google and yahoo both are the biggest search engine, both has own algorithm, like google takes time to pickup the backlinks and yahoo takes the time to pick the pages.

Give it time, or drive traffic to those pages.
