why yahoo indexing less then google

Hello friends,

I have seen my site indexing in yahoo less then google, do you know why??

Yahoo doesn't index as quick as Google does, that's why.

 

yeah..are you submitting your sitemap to site-explorer?

 

thats easy as Google has more users than yahoo, yahoo takes much time to index than Google.

 

But you can see that Yahoo have collected much data of inbound links for your site than Google.

 

I think Yahoo uses different methods for indexing the sites.

 

I dont want to sound dumb..but what is site indexing??

 

@ jdnlu11, The site and pages which are indexed in google or Yahoo's server, Means the spider crawls the page to index..

 

Google is big search engine they index fast.

 

Opposite for me. Yahoo index my pages before google, and also considers more backlinks than google.

 

Yahoo is not used by many users like GooGle

 

it means that your website can be found by users entering a search term in one of the search engines.

 

i think yahoo give results within original website only

Yahoo doesn't index as fast as Google because of Yahoo's system.But it is good all still.

 

Yahoo is much accurate in knowing how much your inbound links are than using webmaster tool. I think they are much reliable in it.

 

check site internal linking and submit sitemap in yahoo.if possible then submit your site in some most popular social bookmarking sites.
