I don't really understand what you are saying here.

Have you done any backlinking to your sites? Are the 1400 sites you speak of pointing back to your website?

Submit or route spiders to your sitemap through your robots.txt file or submit sitemaps through the yahoo web master tools section - build backlinks and quantity over quality for fast indexing - be sure your site is fully site mapped

Submit sitemap and your site should be indexed fast.

Have you tried adding Sitemap to Yahoo Web master tools?

I have the same issue, just discovered that 5 minutes ago - that's kind of why I was checking out this section. It's just a strange thing. I have a pr3 blog since late 2007, it has several thousand backlinks showing for alta vista, all the web, and 194,000 in Google. But Yahoo is a big fat zero.

I like Google much better anyway, but still.

I have a different problem... got over 60K indexed, but only about 10 referals a month from Y!
You can try summiting an XML sitemap.

I used to have a problem with yahoo for a while. I had robots.txt, sitemap.xml submitted to yahoo site explorer account, backlinks, etc.

Then one day I was reading about how yahoo used to prefer a urllist.txt file in your root with all your links 1 per line in standard text format.

    So I created a yoursite.com/urllist.txt

    With all my links:
    http:// www. somesite. com/
    http:// www. somesite. com/link1.php
    http:// www. somesite. com/subfolder/link2.php
    (obviously without the spaces)
    Etc. Etc.

I put the whole ball of whacks in there, and in 1 week and probably less yahoo found them. Perhaps it was just coincidence. All I know is shortly after doing so they all appeared in yahoo explorer after that. Worth a try anyway.

This site will also generate up to 500 of your links in sitemap.xml, sitemap.html, and urllist.txt format for free:

    We have a similar story.

Google has indexed pretty much all of our site's pages, but Yahoo is showing only two; the home page and the sitemaps xml. The site was created about 45 days ago.
Surprisingly, we have top 1-5 search positions on Yahoo for almost all the keywords, which all link to the home page.
