I hope yahoo was number 1 in Alexa traffic rank. But the present rank shows yahoo becomes #2 and google becomes # 1 I believe, yahoo has more number of services than google. Will it again become # 1 in Internet ?
What do you want to say with your post? Is this a question or just sharing some thoughts? Yahoo was number (and still keeping high positions) just because of it's mail services. Still millions of people are using it for main mail provider.
google now has a lot of services n getting big. even yahoo search engine not giving accurate result like last time anymore.
i dont think so it wont..first of all there has been a large effect largely due t movement of all feedburners files on googles site...so more visitors...google rocks
Google is the best and actually indexes pages quickly. Yahoo, well does not. While yahoo is still an effective search engine and has a lot of customer loyalty, Google is superior. Jerry Yang really ruined the company.
Google user is keep on increasing since the search engine getting more and more important now. That's why google grow up very fast. Besides, google's R&D and marketing is much better than Yahoo. it is hard for Yahoo to get back their first place unless they develop sometime new and useful. Also, they need to improve on their marketing stretagy too
'jkolarov' - I want to share my thoughts... that's all. I feel, yahoo is trying to improve its services & traffic to become # 1. So that, they removed the breifcase facility which is not at all used by most users...
I feel Yahoo do not brings much traffic. so Best way is to getting traffic from Google only as such my website www.rightwaysolution.com is on first page for the Keyword Web development India then also i am not getting good traffic from Yahoo. I am getting only 1% of traffic from Yahoo....
still yahoo is the number one because of their mail and chat. Google is popular because of their search engine. Lots of people using yahoo mail and chat.
Well Google has dominated searches all over the Globe, thats why Google is no. 1 Search engine. But otherwise Yahoo has overall more traffic than Google, it might be because of more services. But From Search Engine point of view, no one can beat Google
google is no 1 because its not only a search engine its also offering a lot of other services....and in future also it will be in no 1 position only..google rocks....
If you take a look at the statistics and data about the number of people using Google and Yahoo, you already can get the answer. Google's share of the web is going higher day by day compared with Yahoo but this is nothing strange or bad because Yahoo too is having millions of loyal web visitors and people using its services like email addresses, messenger, playing games at its pages online, etc.
