You have to keep in mind, that there are many different Google servers. It isn't like everytime you do a query to google you hit the exact same database. And pages shuffle in and out of the supplemental index. So, it's very possible that you're hitting different data centers, which is why your indexing count can vary.

    HTH,

    161 posts? Where ya been?

You should consider posting more information really... it's tough to diagnose a patient we can't even see... and have no symptoms of what is wrong with them... if ya know what I mean?

    URL?
    Rankings that dropped? (what terms?)
    Dropped how far, how fast?
CHanges to the site over the least 6 months?
    Have you monitored indexation?

That kind of goodness... the patient is likely to recieve better care as such me amigo...

Yeap, I am also facing this problem. May be because google is more concerned with the quality of these pages. (duplicate/plagiarized). Or Google is finding it difficult to crawl the site.

I think that if they have problems with your pages, they just shove it to Supplemental? They won't drop it right? Or perhaps they couldn't access those pages (like server problems)?

The problem is only with Google algorithim

Google has about 10 pages for my site now which has been currently removed!

Even though it has been removed from websites these pages still shows in site results for my link on Google

Uhh... the point was, with over 100 posts, one should generally know without information there is little in the way of quality advice coming back his way... simply look at the advice they were given.. I rest my case

Just a little forum fact.... :D

Good point, links with signatures helps a site back to Google's index, if you post thousands of it, it would generally add to your backlink but once Google updates backlinks, you would not just speed up the indexing of a site but you may increase its PR too

They don't have enough link juice.

When you are doing link building, try to link more to your internal pages.

There are many causes. Google can restructure its ranking algo. So this one is administrative. Then there are other factors like a drop in the rank of a backlink. If you have linked to site A, and Google decides that their PR is inflated, then a loss in rank there will affect you.
