Just perusing authority sites in my favorite niche and I came across this link on the homepage of the Wall Street Journal Online: http://podcast.mktw.net/wsj/audio/20061124/pod-wsjwknd/pod-wsjwknd.mp3 Now, all the other branding aside (this is a subsidiary of Dow Jones, Inc., and one of the three biggest newspapers in the US, so they're not worried about things like PR), why would you put content on a subdomain of which there is no main page? (mktw.net) Not even a homepage for podcast.mktw.net, let alone a www.mktw.net! (mktw, btw, is for marketwatch, another of DJ's companies). Any reasonable explanation?
