Why won't the ads target?

On this site http://mizu.star-bottle.net the ads were given specific channels relating to the site (graphics, myspace layouts, etc.) but the ads keep showing up links to bottles related websites.

    How does one fix this?

    Thanks.

thats because you have bottle on your URL. it is a common issue where adsense ads show up based on keywords in the URL. you can use section targeting which will solve the issue

Yeah, section targeting should help you at lot. Eliminate the clutter and focus on the content with the phrases, you want to see ads for.

Google looks at the content on your page and makes a decision. If ads don't match you have to figure out what the Adsense bot is seeing as most relevant. Then decide whether it is worth changing the content on the page. Also consider that incoming links tell the bot about the content as well.

Hi, everybody! I'm new to the forum and have already found this to be an incredible resource.

My question is this: is there another way to get the ads to target properly? My site is a collection of various articles from the internet (each on a separate HTML page), and, since it's hosted by Tripod, about half the time, the ads that show up are for camera tripods. The other half the time, they're properly targeted ads. To go through the section targeting for each and every page would take forever.

I appreciate any suggestions and consideration.
