I setup a search engine a while ago using Googles API key...

    www.indexangel.com

The problem is, I don't get second page clicks :(
I have tried to match the search pages with the site theme.
I customized the searched sites (this 1 indluded lol)

But why do people leave after the 1st page is shown ???
I am really struggling with this, I have driven traffic there, but no one seems to like it :(

    ANY help please?

Note: only just moved it to its own domain, so Page Rank is low
It was on my main subdomian before

why would they use your version of google over the original?

what do you offer extra? I tried it but could not see why i would choose that over them?

    I agree with BillyBrag.

For some reason I thought the site was going to be about Angels and that I would be able to search for Angels and find something about each one.

For example, it would be cool if I typed in "The Angel Gabriel" and all of the details appeared.

If this was the case, I would use Angel Index.

    Over and out,

I can't stand the color scheme, it is annoying... It also does NOT look like a search engine with all of the other stuff on the page.

Let's face it, launching a new search engine is never going to be easy. In order to appeal to the masses your search engine is going to need some seriously innovative design and content. My guess is that unless someone comes up with a true innovation in the way their search 'engine' works, taking users away from google, msn and yahoo is going to be a near impossible task.

Its just another NAGO! {NOT ANOTHER GOOGLE ONE}. I dont see you really getting to far with a GoogLe custom site. I am having probLems with my search engine, and that is all custom code with unique things. ^You need to be unique in this market.

Looking at the site, I could not see any reason to use it. The color scheme bothered me as well - if you're just a search engine, make that your focus and your site cleaner. Also, use some space to explain what your engine does.

When I was running a search engine (www.findisland.com/index.php), I focused on what I had that was unique and nothing else. I got up to about 2,500 searches a day.
