Why wont my pagerank change and how does this affect traffic

    i have a blog that about business credit
    its www.mybusinesscreditblog.com
    i am paying a guy for some SEO services
    $500 in total but he brok eit down
    and he is getting my page to the first page of google for the keywords "Business Credit" and "Business CRedit Services"
    i know I am a noob so i hope you will be easy on me
    :)

    he seems to be doing a good jobs
    its been likel 2 months and i am now on the second page for both keywords and hopefully on the first page soon but my PR is still 0?
    how does that work??
    how will that affect my traffic?
    what kinda traffic should I be getting in that niche?
    can someone help me with getting solid traffic?
    and how much will it cost?

    as much insight on all my questions will help

    Your position in serps is more important than PageRank - don't give PageRank a second thought - it doesn't get you traffic. It's just one indication of how Google is evaluating your site, but that's all, it lags behind the algo that google is using, just forget about it.
    You can get an indication of the search volume for your keywords from keyword tools, such as google's adword tool

    business credit as an exact match gets an approx avg search volume of 1,900 monthly

    I think that's broad match - it is an adwords tool primarily, and adwords uses broad, phrase and exact match - i.e will trigger ads for synonyms in broad match.
    I looked at exact match - how many people were looking for exactly that phrase.
    Don't buy traffic- it's untargeted, and at worst it's just a bot hammering your server.
    If you've got money for promotion, buy advertising instead - no guaranteed hits, and more work involved, but an opportunity to get real people who are interested what you are offering.

    What if you have 100.000 inner pages? will they all get indexed if you have PR 0 or 1 ? ;)
