It's interesting that a JW brings up atrocities while they don't stand against these atrocities due to their policies against military service.

What is worse is that they cover up for pedophiles in their leadership and shun those who wish to expose them. I didn't know about this until several JWs started to speak for Christianity in this forum. I did a little looking around to update my knowledge about this movement but I was blown away by what has recently come to light about this organization. Do a search for pedophile jehovah witness and you will be amazed with the many stories you will find like you find in this resource.

Again, God didn't give me any choice, because he does not exist.

Its the choice I made. Not because some non-existent entity has given me so, just because my logic tells me so.

You have yet to give evidence that God exists, other than quotes in the books, and some so called effects..

One atrocity for another does not bring peace - history is littered with so-called christians fighting their 'brothers' and 'sisters' in other countries. Wars do not bring peace, learning to war no more is the only way peace will come.

There are a good many individuals who like to promote falsehoods against Jehovah's Witnesses and personally I don't believe everything I read on the Internet, maybe you do.
I can tell you from experience that many, both religious and non-religious organisations, have come to grief in past years over allegations of child abuse. There have been many instances where people, for example in care homes and in the teaching profession as well as in 'religion', have been accused of child abuse over the years and have been found to be completely innocent. Equally there have been other instances where cases of child abuse have been 'covered over' by various organisation, (the Catholic Church has had to admit many such recently with massive lawsuits against them), supposedly on the grounds of being 'the best for all concerned'.

Now as a father and grandfather I can tell you that I abhor child abuse.
I can also tell you that Jehovah's Witnesses as a worldwide group also abhor child abuse.

In recent years, in common with many religious and other organizations, Jehovah's Witnesses have reviewed carefully their procedures for dealing with any claim of child abuse amongst its members; stressed as paramount is the absolute care and protection of the child.
However children do not always immediately report abuse.
When they do report it or it becomes known, some do not wish to report the matter to the authorities.
Even when a report is made to the authorities, it does not necessarily lead to a court appearance or a conviction, because by the very nature of abuse it is often hard to obtain evidence that would satisfy the requirements of the law.

When it comes to accusations of anything, is it right to accept the word of one person, child or otherwise, against another when there is no supporting evidence?
The bible requires that there be at least two witnesses to substantiate any accusation, the law of most lands require much the same or more for an accusation to be substantiated.
What do you do when an accusation is made, do you automatically say "He/she must be guilty", just because it is a matter of child abuse?
    String them up why not?
If someone made an accusation against you that was false would you like to be penalised and stigmatised without there being any supporting evidence to substantiate the complaint?

Jehovah's Witnesses do not cover up or condone child abuse:-
Of course, as with all practicers of serious sins, an unrepentant child abuser would be removed from the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

So what has he got against the people who aren't granted freedom of choice and expression? You seem to be living in a bubble where the only existence you are aware of is your own. It's the "i'm alright jack, So fuck everyone else" attitude that really exposes you for what you are when you credit god for your own liberties and freedoms yet ignore those people not granted those freedoms.
