Hello all, Firstly thanks for taking a look at my post. I appreciate it. Im having trouble with 2 pages on a website. the files index.php and index_temp.php are exactly the same. Only index_temp.php will yield all the AdSense adds in their proper place whereas the index.php file will only show adds at the very top. what is going on? you can take a look at the files here index.php index_temp.php
I find if I have more than one ad on a page... the second will not show in preview but will show when I visit my site... However, others here suggest you clean out you temp files and refresh the page...
Just remind you before you put everything on live. Labeling Ads Publishers may not label the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." Don't label the adsense with "helpful links" else you might get trouble soon.
Thanks solution2u, I wasn't aware of that. I'm still new to Adsense (24 hours) so I guess I have a lot to learn and look out for.
Ok, have tried a few things but I'm still unsure of what is going on. To illustrate this better. Using the Digital Point AdSense sandbox tool I get these results www.aussiemaps.com.au then when i expand the url to this www.aussiemaps.com.au/index.php I get a completely different set of results. Somebody tell me.... am I just stupid?!?
Thanks, but I still get the same results with the Google tool. Can I be experiencing a region problem, or are people from other countries other than Australia experiencing the same results I am?
index.php is not always the number one choice when the bots see your domain, I experienced the same thing with my forum, I added a index.html to it that forwards to the index.php, so you may want to add a index.html file or change the php into html... Oh: don't put ads on that index.html if it forwards to the index.php, it's not allowed and useless.
Thanks to everyone that posted!. The problem seems to be fixed now. All that I can put it down to in my limited technical experience is that google's cache of the base url was a blank page. Therefore when looking at the base URL in its cache it could'nt generate relevant adds. However, when looking at a URL that google didn't have in cache, it was forced to take a look at the page via other methods than its own cache, therefore showing relevant adds.
All ads are showing mate. nothing wrong. And your ad placement and color blend is very nice. good effort.
