Why wont adsense show on my site????

I have steady traffic to my www.7meg.info free directory, so decided to add adsense to it.

I added it to footer.tpl, so it should show under the search box.

If you view>source, you will see the code.

But it doesnt show any ads, why not?????

I don't see the ads too, try to change the location and keep in mind not to touch the adsense code

they are supposed to be under the search box, as mentioned before.

i have not changed the code.

the only place they show is straight after the <body> tag which is no use at all....

Check that you've applied the code correctly and not missed any buit when copy and pasting the code. Even if you miss one small bit, you won't see anything.

It looks like the code is changed, all pieces are in the same line.

Problem now is the actual ads.

When on a category page, such as seo in my directory, it shows SEO ads which is fine.

But @ the home page it shows unrelevent ads, which i dont want :(

    what can i do???

Be patient and give it some time, it's always like that the first time you add AdSense on your page

You are going to get some irrelevant ads on ton directories because it s hard for adsense to determinewhat the page is about. Perhaps you could add some content on the home page about SEO or something along those lines and see if thwat works.
