haha that is the truth of wikipedia... I go on there and get stuck for hours reading articles. Wikipedia really is the best source of information on nearly anything. if I search google for anything general, I always add "wiki" to the end of the search.

That comic is great. I use Wikipedia daily for information, though I use common sense and pay attention to the validity of the sources citied. I also edit whenever I can.
Wikipedia allows for a good archives of information which without it you have to search high and low using Google to piece together all the information. A lot of the information are fairly accurate although I hate some which list down the information and then say "Citation needed" for such cases, they might as well not list down because such info may not be accurate. Also the way it protrays religion is something I would beg to differ, for eg a recent thread about Islam protrayal in Wikipedia. But overall yes it is Awesome which is one of the reason why Google is trying to build another!
I like it but I always get a little nervous if the info is accurate, since anyone can change it at any time.
Wikipedia is awesome ... I use it, and, it's generally a good source of information... .that having been said I think G is a little bit too much in love with it. kf
Though the wiki is edited by the users, it is now acknowledged that it is as good as encyclopedia brittanica . You can see the wiki as number 1 most of the times in the serp
