    it's for the same reason match.com is always on the first page of google, because they pay BIG dollars to google and it's been proven, match.com spends $7 million dollars a year on advertising costs every year and lot of that is for first page.

    wikipedia provides relevant, unique and proper information and it has got good repo in eyes of G thats why it comes first..
