my chitika rev last night was 11.87 but this morning when there was 2 new clicks too but my rev today is 11.27 why is that.... why my rev drop.... is this happen ????
The real question is. Why are you worrying about 60 cents? Go make this 11$ into some real money then complain when you loosing thousands and someone might respond
well Mr:INV its not abaout some Cents.... its about That dose they CUT money from your rev.... if this is soo then i can save my self before i can make thousands and they cut then,.... Understand ????? other people might have understand what i am trying to say.... ( common sense )
Well, it's probably due to your keywords' CPC dropped. Or you got more clicks on lower CPC ads. Don't expect 10 clicks today to net you the same money 10 clicks tomorrow. It can go up, and it can go down as well. Like INV said, it's just 60 cents. Dont fret over it!
Or perhaps yesterday you had XX clicks on product Z, but today it was XX+2 clicks on product Y? The products don't all pay the same.
So, let me get this straight... Some of you actually believe that some clicks will COST you money? One would only reason that $11.87 PLUS two additional clicks would equate to some total ABOVE $11.87 NOT less than the amount you had before the two additional clicks. Sometimes you can only see problems when a sample is small enough to make it blatant. Many may overlook the pennys when the totals are large - but - over time the penneys add up. I think the OP has a legitimate question! I would also like to know the explanation. Caryl
I understand what you mean. But that is only a problem if Rage runs ads for only one single product. As long as he runs multiple products, and these products all has varying CPC, there are chances where more clicks yields less (or more) money than the previous day.
So you think the OP is saying... Yesterday's total was $11.87 But today's total was only $11.27 and there were more clicks today than yesterday.(?) I read the statement as The total was $11.87 but then when there were two additional clicks added, the total was reduced to $11.27. NOT two different days and two different totals -BUT - the Total was reduced by $.60 after adding two more clicks to it.
Eww...i guess the 3 of us misread his question. Probably because Chitika only updates once a day, so naturally we believe he is talking about 2 different days' earnings. Now I've never seen this before. I usually wait for Chitika's earning for the day to show up before I go to bed. And there was once where the earnings was very little, and couple of minutes later it showed the correct amount. Every other times I see my report only updating once and remains consistent.
mcdar you understand my question well... that what i was saying... the totel balence was 11.87 today when to more click are been made.... let say per click is 1cent.... then today the totel balance should be 11.89 not less.... that my question... why its happen..
If you're looking at total balance in the bottom of the page, remember that it only sums up the total of the days being displayed on that page - if you have been with chitika for more days than what will fit on one page, the rest is moved to page 2 and the total for that must be added to the total for page 1 to get the full amount.
Guys it's just like adsense. Different clicks can give you different amounts at different times. We are TOTALLY at the mercy (and integrity) of the ad networks on this one. I've gotten 2 clicks and made $12 one day then got 23 clicks and made $5.25 the next on my smaller sites. Those 2 clicks were worth more so I got more than the cheaper 23 clicks I got the next day. Amoutn of clicks has nothing to do with it. That's why it's called Cost Per Click
