Why...what ?!

    I am starting vbulletin soccer forum this week and am looking for domain.THe domain names soccer-chat.com/net/org are already registered.When i enter them there are some links,nothing about soccer.Why do people register such domains they don`t need

    They make money off the pay-per-click ads. If they make more than reg fee ($7/year or 2 cents/day) from clicks then its worth them renewing.

    yes indeed. they just park their domains and if the domain is really good they earn much more than registration price
