    Uploading sitemap.xml used for crawling by search engines more easily. Breadcrumb link structures is more optimal for navigation .

    These days i doubt if any visitor has patience for sitemaps. They're likely to use search function on blog or site instead. So only use for sitemap these days is for bots to crawl through your site's pages.

    Most of us actually don't know that why do we use site map? Generally people use site map because they think it is good for seo and helps google crawler to crawl the site, but google crawler will still crawl your site without an xml site map. But it will be really good if we have a html site map describing the structure of our site which is called static site map.

    hi! guys. What about ror.xml? I havnt uploaded one on any of my website. Will it work only for a blog or sites frequently updated? If uploaded for a static website, is it gonna get it crawled quickly.

    sitemap is like a catlog,heading of all topics of our site is on one page .google have no time to index whole pages of our site .From this, Google crawlers crawls the sitemap & index them quickly.

    sitemap is available in html,xml and another one for image. html and xml is very important on site. sitemap.html is user friendly. It helps to navigate the user when they dont know any ways to go to other pages. sitemap.xml is search engine friendly. It helps to inform about your inner pages and also helps to indexing your inner pages on SERP.
    Notes: dont forget to add your sitemap path on robots.txt for instance sitemap:http://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml
