Why we need RSS Feed???

Why we need RSS Feed for for websites???? Is this useful for SEO????

 

I was asking the same question, I think it's only useful for blog sites, but I could be wrong.

 

RSS is very useful for get backlink an gain traffic.

 

As far as I know one of RSS important feature is for the readers who want to subscribe to timely updates from favored websites from many sites into one place.It helps us save our valuable time by subscribing to a reader for a content that we are interested in it.

Tips: Install Google desktop, submit DP rss feed. Google would send you the relevant info you want right to your desktop without you have to login to the forum.
