Why we can't smell the perfume on our ownbody?

Yesterday morning only I noticed that while smearing perfume on my shirt I can smell the perfume. But after few hrs I am unable to smell it. But my friends say that the perfume is too good to smell. Why is it so?

 

It's called adaptation.
It's like wearing clothes, your body gets used to it

 

If you can smell your own fragrance you are wearing too much of it

 

Cause you know the smell and you get used to it. It's like yucky guys who wear axe.

 

Also, I don't think our noses are sensitive enough to smell everything around us, as where an animal such as a dog can smell things far away.

it is done due to Adaptation.

 

We just get used to it? just like when you walk into a room and it smells differently and then after a while you get used to it too.

 

^^ Yeah... You can't smell it on yourself after a while, but I bet other people can.

 

Yeah... other people can smell it, especially like when some people use a lot! and dont even notice. Then its not a good thing.
